Our historic function room is the ideal venue for celebrations and gatherings, with a rustic interior combined with delicious food, drinks served from its own private bar and attentive staff, making sure your event runs smoothly. You’ll find us in Bryants Bottom, in the Chiltern Hills near Great Missenden and High Wycombe.
The perfect venue for all types of events including birthdays, weddings, christenings, wakes, Christmas parties and meetings. We can host up to 80 people standing and 55 seated.
There is also an option of joining a marquee to the room, which extends the capacity to 175 standing and 110 seated. The marquee is available for most of the year.
For food, you can choose a buffet, or your guests can pre-order from our main menu, or from our Sunday menu on Sundays. Our menu includes pub classics and North Indian dishes.
Music and DJs are welcome until 11pm. For music after 11pm we need to apply for a temporary licence, so please let us know as early as possible. A projector and screen are also available on request for presentations, speeches or slideshows.
Additionally, our sun trapped beer garden makes this a perfect spot for a summer party, with a quirky outside bar serving draught beers, ciders and real ales.
Every event is different, so prices are on request. Get in touch to arrange your next event: call 01494 488632, email bookings@thegate.pub, or fill in the form below.
